Leveraging over 5 years of experience as a Mortgage Agent at ShaCole Brokerage, coupled with directorial roles at McBean's Project Management and ownership of a cooperation, I bring a unique blend of strategic leadership, operational excellence, and business acumen to SunCon Development. My expertise lies in driving growth, optimizing operations, and fostering strong investor relations to achieve organizational objectives.
McBean's Drafting Service was registered in 2003, offering architectural drafting and construction supervision services, then eventually evolved into McBean's Project Management by August 2016. This was as a result of us recognizing that potential home owners had great difficulties navigating through the process of home and property ownership, especially members of the diaspora, therefore we decided to operate an international construction project management company in order to assist clients with all the processes necessary for property acquisition, building construction and maintenance .
Has over eighteen (18) years management experience in the Credit Union Movement serving in various capacities including Branch Manager, Operations Manager, Manager, Finance and Accounting and currently Senior Manager, Finance. This experience includes:
Prior to joining the Credit Union movement I held the position of Audit Senior at PricewaterhouseCoopers. As an Audit Senior I was responsible for planning and supervising audits to ensure that reporting deadlines were met and that there was compliance with reporting standards. I was also assigned to several special projects because of my technical insight and my attention to details. I have also been called to serve at leadership level in other organizations. I currently serve as Elder and Treasurer of the Mount Edgecombe Seventh Day Adventist Church, Board Member of the Northview Christian Preparatory School, Treasure of the York Castle High School Past Student Association, and Chairman of the York Castle High School Parent Teachers Association. I am a past Chairman of the Supervisory Committee of Jamaica of Co-operative Credit Union League, and I also a Justice of the Peace for the Parish of Saint Ann.
Lorraine was born and raised in England and is now Blessed to call Jamaica her home. She is a Certified Business & Life Coach and NLP Practitioner. She is the owner of LG CoachingJA where the focus is supporting her clients to transform their business & lives through “Stepping into Alignment with their True Self & Vision”
She supports her clients in understanding the importance of cohesiveness among their thoughts, attitudes, habits and actions, which in turn supports the Alignment with their Vision. Thus, they ultimately achieve what it is they desire.
Lorraine is passionate about Support and persons Staying to Self and Vision and with this in mind she hosts a Podcast called LG's Talk @ the BeachJA where the main focus is Staying True to Self and the Importance of looking after ones Mental Health & Well-Being.
